Bézier curve
A curve specified by an ordered set of control points, the first and last of which are the curve’s end points. The entire curve will lie within the polygon constructed by joining the control points with straight lines. The most common type of Bézier curve used in vector graphics has four control points, so it can be defined by two end points with a pair of direction lines at each end to indicate the directions and rates at which the curve leaves the two end points. Bézier curves are particularly useful because they may be connected smoothly.
The glossary contains nearly 700 terms. Except for some common mis-spellings and Americanisms, definitions are only returned if they match the term you entered exactly. If you cannot find a definition for a term you expect to be in the glossary, try consulting the full list of terms.
