HSL
Hue (H), saturation (S) and lightness (L). A colour model in which hue is modified by white and black. Geometrically, the HSL model is a double cone.
HSV, HSB
Hue (H), saturation (S) and value (V), or (synonymously) brightness (B). A variation of the HSL colour model in which the geometry is distorted to be a cylinder, to make the colour space easier to present on screen.
hue
A pure colour. In the HSV model of colour, hue is equated with position around the rim of the colour wheel.
