TCP
Transmission Control Protocol. The protocol used at the Transport Layer in the Internet for the reliable transmission of streams of data.
TCP/IP
Loosely used to refer to all of the protocols used on the Internet and intranets. TCP and IP are the lowest-level protocols used to communicate between applications and hosts respectively.
