Johannes Itten, The Elements of Color (John Wiley & Sons: 2004)
A treatise on the color system of Johannes Itten, based on his book The Art of Color. A classic text on colour with superb illustrations. You might have trouble getting hold of this if you can’t get it in a library – it has been issued and re-issued many times since its first publication in 1961 by a bewildering number of different publishers. We have given the details of the most recent edition that we know of, but this now appears to be out of print too.
